Checking a part by parameters and appearance
Similar parts can be compared by number, parameters, and brand. A photo narrows the package. The buyer still confirms the part number before stock and price.
What the comparison table holds
After a buyer picks a device family, the table lists part number, brand, and the parameters already stored, such as package, voltage, capacitance, or power. A parameter that was not entered stays blank. It is not filled with a plausible figure. Parts with close parameters and different brands can sit on adjacent rows.
Price and stock follow the part number, using the price that buyer account can see. The comparison is of part numbers, not of a category name with no part.
When the buyer has only a photo
A photo is used to compare package and marking and to shorten the list of candidates. It does not replace the part number. Each candidate returns to the parameter table for stock and price before it is added to the cart or the bill.
Images come from material the client may use. A part without an image does not get a stand-in picture. The export contains part numbers and parameters, so engineering or finance can review it away from the page.
Who receives the export
The file is for engineering review or payment approval. Every part number on it can be searched again in the mall. If an admin changes a parameter later, the mall’s current value is the one that counts. The exported file is not rewritten.
Comparison stays on the storefront. The part master and the images are kept in the admin. Both sides use the same part number, so the image set and the catalog do not drift into two numbering schemes.

Can a photo replace the part number?
