Part catalog import

Catalog data work turns part numbers, parameters, and document fields the client may publish into a table, then imports that table into the client’s own site. Upload is the second half of this service.

What you receive

  • A field list: part number, parameters, document link, and update time
  • An import file with a report of rows that failed
  • Product records that open on the client’s site after import

Who it is for

It fits a company that already holds part data and needs it on its own website. The source has to be a file or feed the client is allowed to use.

Boundary

The work does not bypass logins, checks, or access limits. A part list of unclear origin is not treated as publishable. Missing fields stay empty and are marked, not invented.

How a table reaches the site

The field list comes first: part number, parameters, document link, warehouse, and update time. The source has to be a file or feed the client is allowed to use. A missing parameter stays blank and the row is listed in the import report. A guessed value is not written in.

After import, a buyer can open the record by part number or browse by category. Spot and futures columns stay separate. They are not merged into one stock figure. Upload is the step after the table is prepared, and search and bill matching use the same part numbers.

Common questions

Are collection and upload two services?

On this site they are two steps of one service: prepare a table the client may publish, then import it into the client’s website.

What if a parameter is missing?

The cell stays blank and the row is listed in the import report. A guessed value is not written in.

Can prices be taken from any mall?

That is not the default. Only data the client is allowed to use goes into the table.
